Does a Solar System Really Work ?

The results speak for themselves as the more tailored a solar system for your propertly location and the demands on power consumption clearly show a positive impact in reducing you're electricity bills from th emoment you install solar. You can also pre-heat water with surplus solar energy further reducing gas usage.

HOW MUCH CAN I SAVE FROM SOLAR ?

The savings you can make a completely dependant on size of the solar panels, inverter output and whether you have solar battery storage but typically a system for a 3 bedroom house in Surrey can save an average of 63% towards utility bills. Our solar systems are scalable so you can start with an entry level system and increase that over time to save even more. It is not unrealstic to be 100% solar sufficient in Surrey for less than you think.

HOW BENEFICIAL ARE THESE SOLAR GRANTS?

The government and local authority grantsa for solar systems have had some positive impact but we have noticed many new entrants into solar panel installation most of which are over-inflating quotes to take advantage of the subsidies avaiable.Our solar systems are priced competitively without the influence of solar grants so you can be assuered our prices are quite often cheaper than what you have been quoted by a national solar system instraller.

DO I NEED SOLAR BATTERY STORAGE ?

Solar battery storage is an absolute must for a more efficient solar system as you simply store the energy you produce during the day for it to be used overnight when the sun has gone down. Its just like a car battery only alot larger and it holds a considerable amount of power that discharges in the evening. Most solar panel systems need a minimum of 3kw battery storage to make it the sort of savings worthwhile but these can be added at any time up to a maximum of 13kw battery storage in most cases.

In addtion your solar panels, solar inverter and battery storage are covered by 10 year manufacturers warranties so you have complete peace of mind. We only install trusted solar system manufacturers which may be marginally higher that non-branded components but why compromise on quality and a lack of long term warranty support when you have a solar system which should last up to 15 years.

HOW SOON CAN I GET A SOLAR SYSTEM INSTALLED?

Once a solar system is agreed with a client it takes 2-3 weeks to arrange installation. There are many factors to consider that include scaffolding and site access, latest stock delivery and our solar technician availability. NOTE: Be very careful of companies offering 'next day solar' as this raises alarm bells but seems to be common in Surrey currently and leads to many issues for clients which unfortunately menas we cannot support the inferior solar components that have been installed by 'cowboys' rather than accredited installers.
